Key Accountabilities:
Respond to all telephone and walk in inquiries regarding catering/private dining space
Negotiate with clients and achieve maximum revenue/profit potential while satisfying client needs.
Act as liaison between the client and hotel for all of the client needs, (i.e., hotel rooms, catering and events, audio visual, transporation, off-site event recommendations)
Have excellent knowledge of hotel facilities and capacities and dimensions of meeting rooms/private dining space
Develop creative and attractive menu presentations for potential clients
Coordinate the sale efforts between the sales department and catering to ensure proper utilization of function space to yield maximum revenue
General Requirements:
Experience with word processing software
Excellent reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language
At least 1 year of experience in a luxury hotel preferred
Fine dining experience preferred
