The Purpose of the WW Ops Privacy Team is to manage privacy for the Amazon Operations Organization. Our focus is to ensure individuals are never surprised by the personal data we collect, process and share. Everything we do is based on that focus. This leader acts as a privacy subject matter expert and works with legal and technology to ensure customer trust and privacy is factored into all decisions.
Key job responsibilities
- Support privacy awareness, communications and content creation for Ops Privacy Services.
- Support the overall development and maturation of the Ops Privacy Services Program.
- Support holistic privacy reviews for new and existing applications in Ops
- Support AI compliance review activities, including intake assessments and use case evaluations for AI-enabled applications across Ops.
- Maintain an understanding of privacy regulatory and industry developments.
- Perform operational deep dives on privacy-related processes and systems.
- Identify, gather, track, and report metrics.
- Manage several projects simultaneously with a sense of urgency.
- Comfortable dealing with ambiguity.
