The Print Shop Student Worker supports the Print Services Technician with daily print production tasks including sorting, stapling, binding, filing, and other general print shop duties. This position will also learn to operate the black-and-white large production copier and assist with print production workflows as needed. Additional responsibilities include helping with paper deliveries, picking up and delivering items to Shipping and Receiving, and assisting with placing approved posters around campus. During slower periods, this position may also assist the Marketing Department with basic administrative responsibilities such as picking up mail and shipments, helping with community event coordination, organizing materials, and providing general office support as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

Qualifications / Ability To:

  • Lift and move boxes, paper deliveries, and print materials safely
  • Learn and operate the black-and-white large production copier and other basic print shop equipment
  • Assist with deliveries between Print Services, campus departments, and Shipping and Receiving
  • Use computer applications such as Microsoft Office and email systems
  • Perform basic administrative and organizational tasks
  • Uphold the Web Governance 2011A Policy and the Student Information 5110D Policy.
  • Follow branding standards and poster process guidelines
  • Maintain a strong work ethic and dependable attendance
  • Work independently and follow instructions carefully
  • Provide professional and courteous customer service
