As a key member of the delivery team, you will help shape the technical product vision, architecture, and solution design.

You will develop a deep, end-to-end understanding of existing applications and business processes to define requirements and design solutions for modern and emerging technologies. In this role, you will translate complex business needs into scalable, actionable solutions for highly collaborative, cross-functional, and geographically distributed engineering teams.

As a principal-level contributor, you will lead complex systems analysis efforts, influence decision-making across stakeholders, and deliver strategic recommendations that address critical business challenges and opportunities. You will also coordinate release activities, manage dependencies across teams, and play an active role in delivery planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary liaison between business, product, and engineering teams
  • Lead systems analysis efforts for complex, cross-functional initiatives
  • Translate business requirements into clear, actionable technical specifications and user stories
  • Partner with engineering and architecture to drive solution design and implementation approaches
  • Build deep expertise in existing applications, workflows, and business processes
  • Identify and drive opportunities for modernization, optimization, and automation
  • Influence stakeholders and provide strategic, data-informed recommendations aligned with business goals
  • Coordinate release planning and manage cross-team dependencies in fast-paced environments
  • Facilitate and contribute to team rituals such as planning sessions, backlog refinement, and retrospectives
  • Proactively identify and help remove delivery impediments to improve team effectiveness

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree with 9 years of experience in business and/or systems analysis within a software development environment
  • Strong experience with software development practices, tools, and collaboration platforms (JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders and elicit detailed requirements
  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to evaluate existing systems and recommend scalable, effective solutions
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Experience developing detailed requirements, user stories, and supporting documentation
  • Strong consulting mindset with the ability to ask insightful questions and uncover underlying business needs
  • Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience with process modeling, workflow design, and system/architecture diagramming (e.g., Visio or similar tools)
  • Familiarity with data analysis and modeling, including SQL and working with large datasets
  • Experience with data formats and tools such as XML, JSON, Postman/Insomnia, and relational databases
  • Highly adaptable, self-motivated, and able to quickly learn new technologies and business domains

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in workflow and process optimization
  • Experience supporting BPM or workflow automation platforms
