In this Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) role, you will provide expert -level support to Department of Defense (DoD) programs by assisting government leadership with decision -making, planning, and execution throughout the acquisition lifecycle. You will apply your technical and/or professional expertise to ensure compliance with applicable policies and regulations, contribute to mission success, and help deliver critical capabilities to the warfighter.<\/span>
<\/p>
<\/p>
Duties include, but not limited to: <\/span><\/b><\/span>
<\/p>- Provide Security Assistant support under the direction of Government Security Managers and Security Administrators.<\/span>
<\/li> - Support collateral and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security programs.<\/span>
<\/li> - Assist the Air Force Cognizant Security Authority (CSA) in execution of security oversight responsibilities.<\/span>
<\/li> - Administer and maintain security programs involving information security, personnel security, operations security (OPSEC), industrial security, communications security (COMSEC), acquisition security, physical security, and anti -terrorism/force protection.<\/span>
<\/li> - Develop, review, and maintain Security Classification Guides (SCGs), Security Operating Procedures (SOPs), and related security documentation.<\/span>
<\/li> - Support Program Protection Plan (PPP) development and implementation activities.<\/span>
<\/li> - Assist with DD Form 254 preparation, review, coordination, and security requirements administration.<\/span>
<\/li> - Process and manage personnel security actions utilizing DISS and other government security systems.<\/span>
<\/li> - Conduct security inspections, self -assessments, compliance reviews, and audit preparation activities.<\/span>
<\/li> - Support SCIF, CAP, and secure facility operations, including access control, visitor management, and safeguarding classified information.<\/span>
<\/li> - Identify, investigate, and report security incidents, violations, and vulnerabilities.<\/span>
<\/li> - Provide security training, awareness briefings, and guidance to government and contractor personnel.<\/span>
<\/li> - Support anti -terrorism and force protection requirements as directed.<\/span>
<\/li> - Coordinate with military personnel, government civilians, contractors, and external security organizations to ensure mission success.<\/span>

Minimum Required Qualifications:<\/span><\/b><\/span>

Education: <\/b>Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and 25 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 15 years of which must be in the DoD,OR,<\/b><\/span><\/span>
<\/p>- 30 years of directly related experience, 20 years of which must be in the DoD.<\/span><\/span>
<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>Experience: <\/span><\/span><\/b>
<\/p>- Understanding of counterintelligence threats and trends<\/span>
<\/li> Familiarity with DoD and Air Force security policies, manuals, directives, and instructions<\/span>
<\/p><\/li>
Experience with DISS, SCIF operations, and DD Form 254 processes<\/span>
<\/p><\/li>
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and sound judgment<\/span>
<\/p><\/li>
Strong written and verbal communication skills<\/span>
