As a Principal SAP S/4 IT Analyst supporting finance Record-to-Report (R2R) processes here at Honeywell, you will leverage your deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA finance and management accounting modules to design, implement, and optimize enterprise financial systems that drive business efficiency and accuracy. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless integration and alignment of financial processes with business objectives, supporting strategic decision‑making and operational excellence.You will report directly to our Senior IT Manager and you'll work out of our Charlotte, NC office on a Hybrid work schedule.Hybrid Work Schedule Note: For the first 90 days, New Hires must be prepared to work 100% onsite M‑F.ResponsibilitiesKEY RESPONSIBILITIESLead SAP solution design, configuration, and delivery with extensive hands‑on expertise across core finance and controlling processes.Drive SAP S/4HANA Finance transformation programs using SAP Activate and Agile methodologies, ensuring alignment with business goals and best practices.Design, configure and support SAP S/4HANA Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules with a heavy focus on General Ledger, Asset Accounting, and Period‑End Close tools.Oversee end‑to‑end integration of SAP FI/CO, ensuring seamless cross‑functional business processes.Implement and support SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions including Universal Journal and SAP Fiori applications.Lead integration of SAP S/4HANA with upstream & downstream systems, including core EPM systems while ensuring compliance.Provide solution architecture guidance, stakeholder collaboration, and governance across complex finance transformation initiatives.QualificationsYOU MUST HAVE10+ years of SAP FI/CO experience with extensive hands‑on configuration expertiseExperience leading/Consulting S/4HANA transformation programsExperience in agile delivery models or SAP Activate methodologyStrong proficiency in following core areas:Universal Journal (ACDOCA), General Ledger (FI‑GL), Profit/Cost Center Accounting, Asset Accounting, including S/4HANA Universal Asset ManagementDeep understanding of accounting principles (US GAAP/IFRS), the financial close lifecycle, intercompany accounting, and financial reporting.Proven experience with:S/4HANA FinanceSAP Fiori applicationsIntegration with downstream and connected applications including external EPM systemsEnd‑to‑end finance process knowledge in Record-to-Report (R2R)We ValueBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.Strong knowledge of end‑to‑end finance processes, including:Procure-to-Pay (P2P)Order-to-Cash (O2C)Familiarity with internal financial controls and audit requirements (such as SOX compliance)Ability to translate business requirements into scalable SAP solutions with minimal supervisionExperience working closely with finance stakeholders to drive process improvementsExcellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skillsAbility to influence and drive decisions across business and IT teamsStrong analytical thinking, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilitiesDemonstrated leadership experience in cross‑functional and global project environmentsProven ability to lead workshops, solution design discussions, and governance forumsBenefits of Working for HoneywellIn addition to a competitive salary, leading‑edge work, and developing solutions side‑by‑side with dedicated experts in their fields, Honeywell employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package.
