    We are looking for talented attorneys to support our rapidly growing and evolving North American Retail business. You will serve as the primary lawyer responsible for counseling the business on a broad range of commercial and regulatory matters and structuring, drafting and negotiating commercial transactions. You will work directly with the business, serving as lead counsel on strategic deals, providing day-to-day advice, resolving issues that arise in existing commercial relationships and handling pre-litigation legal disputes and inquiries.

    Principal duties include structuring, drafting and negotiating licensing, advertising, and other commercial agreements and providing ongoing legal counseling in a wide range of legal areas, including intellectual property, digital media, and regulatory compliance. Some travel, domestic and international, may be required.

    Key job responsibilities

    • Drive net new enterprise logo acquisition by identifying, prospecting, and closing strategic accounts across your assigned territory
    • Engage with C-level executives, IT leadership, and line of business stakeholders to create compelling value propositions that align AWS solutions with business outcomes
    • Develop and execute comprehensive account strategies that accelerate customer adoption and meet or exceed annual revenue targets
    • Orchestrate internal AWS resources including solutions architects, partner teams, and specialists to deliver cohesive customer experiences
    • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through diligent forecasting, opportunity management, and strategic account planning

    A day in the life

    Your day balances strategic prospecting with active deal management. You start by reviewing your pipeline and prioritizing outreach to target enterprise accounts. Mid-morning brings executive-level customer meetings where you articulate how AWS drives business transformation. Afternoons involve coordinating with solutions architects and product specialists to design customer proposals, followed by forecast reviews with leadership. You close your day strategizing on complex negotiations and planning next steps to advance opportunities through the sales cycle.
