    The Principal Product Manager Technical will drive forward-looking product strategy and new initiatives for Amazon's tablet portfolio. This leader will own the vision for exciting future programs, translating emerging customer needs and technology trends into compelling product concepts that influence to our multi-generational roadmap. You will work at the intersection of hardware, software, and services-partnering across engineering, design, and business teams to bring transformative products from concept through successful launch.

    We're seeking an exceptional product leader with aproven track record of envisioning and delivering innovative consumer electronics products at scale. You have successfully planned and launched products that customers love-ideally in tablets, phones, and mobile platforms. You bring deep experience in product planning across multiple product generations, a strong technical foundation that enables you to partner effectively with engineering teams, and the ability to translate ambiguous customer problems into clear product strategies.     Key job responsibilities

    • \tIdentify opportunities that leverage emerging technologies, evolving customer behaviors, and market trends

    • \tLead product planning for future programs from concept through launch, including defining product requirements, making trade-off decisions, and driving alignment across hardware, software, and services teams

    • \tDevelop compelling product visions and strategies that articulate where the tablet category is headed and how Amazon will win, influencing VP and Director-level stakeholders

    • \tContribute to end-to-end product development and successful product launches, partnering with engineering, design, operations, and go-to-market teams to deliver on time and at quality

    • \tTranslate deep customer insights, competitive intelligence, and technology trends into actionable product strategies that shape multi-generational planning

    • \tOwn key business metrics and success criteria for future programs, using data-driven analysis to inform investment priorities and product decisions

    • \tContribute to the broader Devices product strategy by identifying cross-portfolio opportunities and driving innovation that scales beyond tablets

    • \tMentor product managers and build organizational capability through thought leadership and raising the bar on product excellence

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

    - 8+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

    - Bachelor's degree

    - Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

    - Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

    - Experience with end to end product delivery

    - Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

    - Experience technical product management

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    - Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements

    - Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement

    The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
