ABOUT THE ROLE
Our Client is seeking a Principal Planning Analytics Consultant to support a high-impact, project-based initiative focused on demand planning and supply chain analytics. This role is ideal for a hands-on technical expert who can bridge advanced data engineering with real-world manufacturing and supply chain processes to drive measurable business outcomes.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and develop advanced analytics solutions using Python and Snowflake SQL
Build and deploy full-stack data applications and interactive dashboards
Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support manufacturing and supply chain processes
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and GitHub automation workflows
Implement cloud-native and containerized solutions for enterprise-scale applications
Lead agile sprint activities including daily standups and sprint planning
Drive ROI-focused analytics initiatives that deliver measurable business impact
Manage large-scale relational datasets and ensure data integrity across environments
Communicate technical insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree or higher
Minimum of five years of professional experience in data science within manufacturing or supply chain environments
At least three years of experience working with ERP or MRP systems and data
Advanced proficiency in Python and Snowflake SQL
Strong experience with Snowflake architecture and data platform management
Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, SIGMA, QlikView, or Streamlit
Experience working with large relational datasets and data wrangling techniques
Proven ability to communicate complex concepts clearly across diverse audiences
Experience working in agile development environments
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with ERP implementations for finance or operations
Familiarity with rapid application development methodologies
Experience with cloud-native deployments and containerization
Proficiency with GitHub automation, CI/CD pipelines, and workflow management
Experience with APIs, service accounts, and secure development practices
Knowledge of test-driven development and rollback strategies
Experience with data visualization libraries such as Matplotlib, Seaborn, or Plotly
Experience leading cross-functional teams across multiple geographies
Demonstrated ability to drive business impact and ROI through analytics initiatives
