As a Corp Principal of our Corporate and Central Programs (CCP) People Experience and Technology (PXT) team, you'll be at the intersection of people strategy and business outcomes! What You'll Do - Partner directly with senior leaders as a trusted advisor on organizational effectiveness, talent planning, and change management - Lead data-driven solutions that accelerate business outcomes through people-focused strategies - Coach leaders on improving management abilities and strengthening our culture - Drive organizational design that aligns with business strategy and fosters inclusive decision-making - Identify trends and insights through people metrics to inform strategic recommendations - Navigate complex situations with high judgment and cultural competency What Sets This Role Apart - You'll be a strategic thought partner who speaks the language of the business - You'll balance analytical rigor with empathetic leadership - You'll have the opportunity to shape how we organize work, strengthen our culture, and achieve our goals - You'll develop the ability to navigate ambiguity and make high-judgment decisions - You'll be part of creating an environment where all employees can do their best work This can be based in Bellevue, WA (SEA) or Arlington, VA (WAS) Key job responsibilities As a Corp Sr. HRBP, you'll drive business success through strategic people leadership across four core pillars: Org Effectiveness - Partner with senior leaders to design customer-centric organizations that foster agility - Leverage business knowledge and people metrics to identify risks and recommend solutions - Design organizational structures aligned with business strategy and inclusive decision-making Senior Leader and Leadership Team Effectiveness - Coach and advise leaders on management abilities and leadership development - Assess talent needs and establish inclusive pipelines through strategic hiring and development - Challenge senior leaders to break mental models on ways of working and talent decisions Change Agent - Use data and insights to guide organizational evolution and transformation - Drive effective change through inclusive communication strategies - Monitor implemented changes to determine effectiveness and durability Talent Planning - Build long-term workforce plans aligned with business objectives - Provide coaching on resourcing critical initiatives and programs - Create talent mechanisms integrated into the organization's rhythm of business As a trusted advisor embedded in the business leadership team, you'll collaborate across PXT to deliver integrated people solutions that power exceptional customer experiences. Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree - Experience creating and implementing large-scale organizational programs - Experience demonstrating strong analytical abilities and confidence in the use of data - 10+ years of human resources management experience - Experience working closely with and advising senior executives of an organization or equivalent - Strong business acumen with the ability to translate business priorities into people strategy Preferred Qualifications - Experience as an HR Business Partner or experience in an HR functional area including, but not limited HRP, HR services, or recruiting - 2+ years of senior leadership development and talent management experience - Experience working with global teams and diverse partners - Experience building scalable programs and repeatable scalable processes, levering various tools and methods to create scale and efficiency - Master's degree in Human Resources, Human Resources Management, Labor Relations, Business/Management, Psychology, or a related field Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
