Principal Engineer - System Design & Simulation

Overview

At TeleWorld Solutions , we design, optimize, and deliver high-performance wireless networks for leading operators and technology partners.

We are looking for a Principal Engineer to lead system design and simulation initiatives , driving innovation across 5G RAN environments .

This role sits at the intersection of advanced modeling, system architecture, and real-world network performance , with MATLAB as a core tool in shaping next-generation solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of MATLAB-based system-level simulators for 5G NR networks
• Develop and maintain simulation frameworks aligned with 3GPP specifications
• Perform end-to-end system performance evaluations.
• Run coverage and SINR based analysis including internal and external interference sources
• Perform interference modeling (co-channel, adjacent channel, inter-system coexistence)
• • Propagation channel modeling using 3GPP standards (e.g. TR 38.901 and ITU-R models)
  • Conduct coexistence studies
• Validate the simulation assumptions, methodology, and results against 3GPP and ITU-R publications
• Contribute technical reports, whitepapers, and regulatory filing

Qualifications

Required

• 10+ years of experience in wireless systems, telecom engineering, or related fields
• Advanced MATLAB expertise (core requirement)
• Strong background in system-level modeling, simulation, and performance optimization
• Working knowledge of 5G RAN and 3GPP frameworks
• Proven ability to translate real-world network challenges into analytical and simulation models
• Strong problem-solving mindset with ability to navigate complex, evolving environments

Preferred

• Expertise in 5G NR (PHY/MAC layers, protocol stack)
• Experience with link-level and system-level simulation tools
• Background in algorithm development and optimization
• Prior experience in a principal, lead, or architecture-focused role
