Technical Summary:
This is a hands-on, senior individual-contributor role for an experienced operations leader who can bring structure, accountability, and technical depth to how cloud services are supported, documented, measured, escalated, and continuously improved. The principal will own the operating model for platform operations, documentation, incident and change processes, HA/DR posture documentation, operational readiness standards for new cloud services, vendor performance management, and service-level accountability.
The principal will enable onshore and offshore technical teams responsible for 24x7x365 operation of the environment, partner with vendors responsible for L1/L2 support, and coordinate with service and platform teams responsible for L3 escalation. The role ensures that services are not only technically ready for general availability, but operationally ready with runbooks, failure scenarios, monitoring, alerting, auditability, logging, escalation paths, ownership boundaries, and sustained support expectations in place.
This senior level employee is primarily responsible for influencing and leveraging the technical direction of integrated business and/or enterprise application solutions and for serving as an expert for technical teams. This employee is accountable for ensuring software solutions are managed with full adherence to industry best practices.
