Job Details

What You Will Do:

  • Architect and own complex, scalable backend systems from concept through production
  • Set the technical direction, establish engineering standards, and mentor a team of talented engineers
  • Partner with product and program management to plan and deliver high impact features
  • Research and integrate cutting edge technologies including AI assisted development tools
  • Debug difficult problems across a distributed codebase and drive continuous improvement

What You Bring:

  • 15+ years of software development experience with demonstrated engineering leadership
  • 8+ years of backend development experience
  • 3+ years with TypeScript and AWS
  • Deep distributed systems design expertise
  • A track record of building platforms, reusable libraries, and high quality modular code
  • Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience with AI assisted software development tools, this is a meaningful plus
