We are hiring a Principal Corporate Quality Engineer to advance our enterprise Quality Management System across a global network of manufacturing and repair sites. In this deployable, strategic role, you'll standardize quality processes, lead complex investigations, strengthen supplier quality, support PMA Continued Operational Safety (COS), and serve as our enterprise eQMS administrator and SME.

What You'll Do

  • Drive standardization and continuous improvement of quality systems, processes, and tools across manufacturing, repair, and PMA operations.
  • Deploy to sites facing capacity constraints, customer escalations, audits, or business-critical projects to stabilize performance and implement sustainable corrective actions.
  • Lead complex investigations and RCCA/CAPA using structured problem-solving (8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, FTA, statistical methods); coach site teams on investigation discipline.
  • Support PMA COS activities—partnering with Airworthiness, Engineering, and Site Quality on field events, risk assessments, and lessons learned deployment.
  • Execute enterprise supplier quality strategy through audits, assessments, risk reviews, and corrective action closure.
  • Own eQMS implementation, configuration, governance, workflows, and network adoption.
  • Support internal, supplier, customer, and regulatory audits.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, Industrial, Quality, or related).
  • 8+ years in aerospace quality, manufacturing/repair station quality, quality systems, or supplier quality.
  • Strong working knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001, Nadcap, FAA Part 145, and FAA Part 21 PMA.
  • Proven track record leading investigations, RCCA/CAPA, audits, and cross-site quality projects.
  • Ability to influence results across sites without direct authority.
  • Willingness to travel extensively up to 75% globally (must have active passport or the ability to obtain)

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMA Continued Operational Safety (COS) program experience.
  • Enterprise eQMS deployment and administration experience.
  • Background across both aerospace manufacturing and repair/MRO.
  • ASQ CQE, CQA, CMQ/OE, Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, or Lead Auditor certification.
