    Job Summary
    We are seeking an experienced Principal Consultant SAP Extended Warehouse Management (SAP EWM) to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise warehouse management solutions. The ideal candidate will have 10 15+ years of SAP consulting experience with extensive expertise in SAP EWM, warehouse operations, supply chain processes, system integrations, and full lifecycle SAP implementations.
    As a Principal Consultant, you will work directly with business stakeholders to analyze requirements, design scalable warehouse solutions, lead configuration and implementation activities, conduct workshops and solution demonstrations, and provide strategic guidance throughout the project lifecycle. The successful candidate will possess strong functional and technical expertise in SAP EWM along with excellent client-facing and leadership skills.
    Key Responsibilities
    SAP EWM Solution Design & Implementation
    • Lead end-to-end implementation and rollout of SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) solutions.
    • Analyze business requirements and design scalable warehouse management solutions aligned with business objectives.
    • Configure SAP EWM modules to support complex warehouse operations and supply chain processes.
    • Conduct solution design workshops, Conference Room Pilots (CRPs), Proof of Concepts (POCs), and solution demonstrations.
    • Drive successful project delivery across all phases including requirement gathering, design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
    Warehouse & Supply Chain Management
    • Design and implement end-to-end warehouse processes including:
      • Inbound Processing
      • Outbound Processing
      • Internal Warehouse Movements
      • Wave Management
      • Physical Inventory
      • Posting Changes
      • Quality Inspection
      • Value Added Services (VAS)
      • Expected Goods Receipt (EGR)
    • Configure warehouse organizational structures and warehouse process optimization.
    • Support inventory management and warehouse automation initiatives.
    SAP EWM Configuration
    • Configure and customize SAP EWM functionalities including:
      • Packaging Specifications
      • Handling Units
      • Warehouse Organizational Structure
      • Storage Types
      • Storage Sections
      • Work Centers
      • Warehouse Process Types
      • Activity Areas
      • Queue Management
    • Configure and enhance the SAP EWM Post Processing Framework (PPF).
    • Implement RF Frameworks, POSC, LOSC, WOCR, and warehouse automation capabilities.

    • Design and implement seamless integration between SAP EWM and:

    • Optimize warehouse execution and operational efficiency through SAP EWM best practices.
    Data Migration & System Support
    • Lead data migration activities for SAP EWM implementations.
    • Support master data creation, validation, and governance.
    • Perform queue monitoring, issue resolution, and production support.
    • Troubleshoot integration issues and optimize overall system performance.
    Technical Leadership
    • Provide architectural guidance and technical leadership for SAP EWM implementations.
    • Mentor functional consultants, developers, and offshore teams.
    • Conduct design reviews, code reviews, and solution validation sessions.
    • Ensure adherence to SAP best practices, governance, and implementation standards.
    Client Engagement & Consulting
    • Act as the primary client-facing consultant for SAP EWM engagements.
    • Gather and document business requirements and functional specifications.
    • Prepare effort estimates, implementation plans, and project documentation.
    • Deliver executive presentations, solution walkthroughs, and stakeholder workshops.
    • Collaborate closely with onsite and offshore teams to ensure successful project delivery.
    Required Qualifications
    Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent experience).
    • 10 15+ years of SAP consulting experience.
    • Extensive experience implementing SAP Extended Warehouse Management (SAP EWM).
    • Minimum one full-cycle SAP EWM implementation (multiple implementations preferred).
    • Strong experience with SAP warehouse and supply chain solutions.
    • Proven client-facing consulting experience in enterprise environments.
