Prime Time Site Director (Part-Time, School Year)
The Family Y is seeking an energetic and organized Prime Time Site Director to lead our before/after-school childcare program at an assigned school site. This role is responsible for supervising staff and children, implementing engaging curriculum and activities, maintaining a safe and welcoming environment, and building positive relationships with families and school personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily program operations and staff scheduling
- Ensure appropriate staff-to-child ratios and child safety
- Lead engaging educational, recreational, and fitness activities
- Develop and implement monthly lesson plans
- Maintain attendance, documentation, and program records
- Communicate effectively with families, school staff, and YMCA leadership
Qualifications:
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- CDA, TCC, or higher education credential required
- Experience working with youth and supervising staff
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- CPR, First Aid, and Fire Safety certifications (or ability to obtain)
- Reliable transportation
