  • Contact Length: 1- year base with 1, 1-year option periods
• Requirements:
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. permanently, without sponsorship.
  • A current license to practice medicine in any State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia) when services are performed onsite on VA property.
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
  • Previous experience with the VA is a plus.

What does a typical day look like for the c Care Provider?

You will:

• Clinic Hours: 8 am to 4:30 pm.
• Evaluation and treatment, including the ordering and interpretation of diagnostic studies, including laboratory, diagnostic imaging, and electrocardiographic examinations, and the ordering of medications.
• Discussion of end-of-life preferences/advanced care planning
• Consultations with sub-specialists
• Discharge including ensuring appropriate follow-up is arranged.
• Abscess incision and drainage
• Fecal occult blood testing

What qualifications do you look for?

You might be the professional we're looking for if you have:

• Authorization to work in the U.S. permanently, without sponsorship.
• A current license to practice medicine in any State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia) when services are performed onsite on VA property.
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
• Previous experience with the VA is a plus.
• If selected, candidates will need to complete credentialing and onboarding requirements consistent with VA medical staff processes.
