Job Details

We are seeking a Family Medicine Physician to provide comprehensive primary care services for patients of all ages in an outpatient community health setting. This physician will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while working collaboratively with advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care services including diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and patient education
  • Manage acute and chronic medical conditions across the lifespan
  • Order and interpret laboratory, imaging, and diagnostic testing
  • Coordinate referrals and specialty care services as needed
  • Collaborate with Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and other clinical team members
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient outcome programs
  • Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records
  • Participate in after-hours call coverage as required
  • Precept medical students, residents, and advanced practice students as appropriate
  • Support organizational initiatives focused on improving community health outcomes

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
  • Active Missouri Medical License or ability to obtain licensure
  • DEA registration and ability to obtain Missouri controlled substance registration
  • Strong commitment to patient-centered care
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Passion for serving diverse and underserved patient populations
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based healthcare environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in a Community Health Center or FQHC setting
  • Experience caring for medically underserved populations
  • Bilingual skills are a plus
  • Interest in teaching, mentoring, and community outreach activities
