The Staff Pad has partnered with a mission-driven healthcare organization providing comprehensive primary care to underserved populations in Los Angeles, CA and we are looking to hire compassionate and patient-centered Primary Care Physicians (Internal & Family Medicine) to support organizational growth & meet community healthcare needs.

Reporting directly to the Chief Medical Officer, you will deliver comprehensive primary care services, including preventive care, chronic disease management, screenings, immunizations, family planning, and patient education.

Schedule: Full-Time | Part-Time | Per-Diem opportunities available | No call/rounding

Coverage: 5 days/week | 1 evening/week as needed | 2 Saturdays/month required

What You’ll Do

  • Assess patients, order and interpret tests, and diagnose conditions
  • Prescribe and administer treatments, medications, and vaccinations
  • Educate patients on disease prevention, nutrition, and hygiene
  • Perform procedures within scope of practice and refer patients to specialists as needed
  • Provide follow-up care for high-risk and emergency cases
  • Conduct physical exams for school, employment, and insurance requirements
  • Provide Family Planning services in compliance with Title X regulations & review patient charts
  • Provide prenatal and postnatal care (Family Planning position)
  • Support organizational goals through patient, staff, and community engagement
  • Supervise upto 4 Advanced Practice Practitioners and maintain required agreements
  • Stay informed on policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Support team communication, goal achievement, and process improvement initiatives
  • Maintain accurate patient documentation and medical records
  • Perform additional duties and grant-funded responsibilities as assigned
  • Meet productivity goals of 25+ patients daily & provide clinic coverage, including evenings and 26 Saturdays annually

What We Are Looking For
Qualifications

Required

  • MD or DO with Internal Medicine/Family Medicine Residency training
  • Active California Medical License and DEA reimbursement 
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 3 years of residency)
  • Relevant clinical experience within scope of training; new graduates encourage to apply
  • BLS and PALS certifications; HIV Certification preferred
  • Experience with EHR systems and basic computer skills
  • Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel between clinic sites.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed for community events

Maintain current licensures and certifications and provide verification upon request

  • Excellent communication, professionalism, confidentiality, and teamwork
  • Patient-centered care with a commitment to quality and clinical excellence
  • Experience mentoring trainees and proficiency with EHR systems, Microsoft Office, and regulatory requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally
