What You'll Do:

  • Deliver patient-centered, trauma-informed, and affirming primary care to a diverse patient population across the lifespan.
  • Collaborate within an interdisciplinary team of providers, nurses, behavioral health clinicians, and care coordinators.
  • Champion equity by providing care that respects and affirms the identities, lived experiences, and challenges of each patient.
  • Participate in clinical quality improvement and contribute to our integrated model of care, which includes HIV services, behavioral health, and gender-affirming care.

Who You Are:

  • A certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) licensed (or license-eligible) in Massachusetts.
  • Committed to delivering high-quality, culturally competent care in a fast-paced, community health setting.
  • Passionate about working with LGBTQIA+ communities, BIPOC patients, and other marginalized groups.
  • Eager to be part of a progressive organization that blends clinical care with advocacy, research, and education.
  • At least two years of clinical experience as an NP/PA in community health, public health, or trauma-informed care is highly valued.
  • Strong commitment to team-based care and an ability to thrive in a mission- and values-driven environment.

Requirements

  • Education: Graduate degree from a certified Family or Adult NP or PA program
  • Current Massachusetts license
  • Ability to work harmoniously and effectively with colleagues, patients, clients and vendors across the spectrum of diversity, including but not limited to race, ethnicity, color, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, socio-economic status, national origin and immigrant status, religious or spiritual identity, disability (physical, mental, emotional and developmental), veteran status, and/or limited English proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least two years of clinical experience as an NP or PA in primary care

This is a union position in a Fenway Health bargaining unit represented by 1199 SEIU United Healthcare Workers East.
