Job Responsibilities - Customer Service
- Responds to inquiries from sales reps and customers.
- Handles a wide range of requests including price lists, product information, and issue resolution.
- Delivers timely, professional responses and follows up to ensure resolution.
- Price List Management
- Creates and updates multiple price lists (currently four), consisting of over 10,000 SKUs.
- Uses Excel to add, delete, and modify items.
- Ensures accuracy and alignment with internal pricing policies. – Pricing information cannot be taken back once published to the customer. Accuracy of this information is of the utmost importance!
- B2B and Digital Tools
- Sets up and manages web-based access accounts for external partners.
- Uploads and maintains B2B pricing data and digital materials.
- Special Pricing & New Item Setup
- Creates custom pricing packages upon request by sales representatives.
- Inputs new materials into the system with correct attributes and identifiers.
- Flags discontinued materials, monitors stock quantities, and adjusts listings as needed.
- Communication & Email Management
- Primary communication is via email; must maintain a high level of professionalism.
- Composes and distributes monthly e-blasts for product launches and updates.
- Manages high volumes of messages while ensuring timely acknowledgments and follow-ups.
- Project Management & Time-Sensitive Tasks
- Balances ongoing tasks with large-scale projects such as pricing revisions for tariff changes.
- Uses analytical thinking to assess urgency and impact, allowing for smart prioritization.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.
- Investigative and Problem-Solving Support
- Analyzes discrepancies in pricing data or product entries.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to trace issues and implement solutions.
