About The Budd Group Culture

The Budd Group is a leading facilities services company, but we are defined by our people. We operate with a mission to deliver high-quality services while honoring God and helping our employees grow. When you join us, you aren't just a number; you're a vital part of a family-oriented team that values integrity and excellence.

What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)

As our Pricing Analyst, you are the strategic bridge between Sales and Accounting. We are looking for an Operations Analyst who understands production rates and can translate field reality into winning Financial Models.

  • Strategic Modeling: Develop and maintain Pricing Models (labor, productivity, taxes) to ensure new business is priced accurately and profitably.

  • Operational Validation: Use your background as an Operations Analyst to ensure bid assumptions for staffing and equipment are realistic for the field.

  • Data Storytelling: Create high-level dashboards in Tableau to monitor gross margin trends and translate raw data into actionable insights for leadership.

  • Bid Diplomacy: Partner with BDMs and Operations to evaluate bids and renewals, ensuring they align with margin targets and regional abilities.

  • Systems Integration: Seasonalize budgets into Adaptive and manage data within internal ERP systems to ensure long-term account health.

What You Bring to the Team
  • Expert Excel Mastery (Required): You go far beyond V-Lookups. You must understand complex "if-then-else" formulas and be able to identify or fix broken calculations.

  • Operations Expertise: 3+ years of experience in Janitorial Operations, Building Service Contracting, or a labor-intensive service industry. You understand P&Ls and production rates.

  • Analytical Mindset: Deep understanding of the fundamentals of service-based labor and how various "levers" (overtime, wages, turnover) impact the bottom line.

  • Diplomacy: You can manage "dual loyalties" between Sales (who want to win) and Accounting (who want to protect margins).

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

Why Work for The Budd Group?
  • Stability: A debt-free, growth-oriented, God-honoring company.

  • Support: Access to mental health and financial support resources.

  • Career Growth: We invest in your future with free online classes and clear advancement paths.

  • Impact: Your insights directly influence our competitive edge and the success of our frontline teams.
