Position Summary:

The Pricing Analyst will be responsible for working closely with the Sales team, Yield Management, Terminal Managers and Senior Management. They will be the recipient of pricing requests and provide the analytical support to prepare pricing proposals for internal review and approval. They will be responsible for sending proposals to customer and Sales and communicating with appropriate sales, pricing and operations resources.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

  • Receiving and analyzing all pricing requests (Bids, New Business Request and Modifications) submitted
  • Collecting and analyze appropriate support data to submit pricing requests to the pricing committee as required
  • Submitting proposals to customers and sales within required time frame
  • Maintaining accurate reporting of all pricing activities including maintaining and updating SalesForce
  • Coordinating with sales field to prepare pricing analysis for management review
  • Representing the company in a professional manner and uphold the highest standards of ethical business practices
To be qualified for this position, you must possess the following:
  • College degree or equivalent
  • Attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments with specific deadlines
  • Ability to interface effectively with customers and internal departments
  • Self-motivated and highly organized
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Previous LTL Pricing experience, transportation, logistics, customer service, sales, and or rates experience is encouraged, not required
