Job Title: Meat Cutter Clerk
Summary:
To provide an excellent customer experience in the Meat Department by cutting meat, preparing products, maintaining a clean, organized, and safe environment, and assisting customers courteously.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in English and basic math skills.
- Knowledge of safe food handling and equipment operation.
- Ability to lift up to 80-90 lbs., stand/walk for long periods, and work in varying temperatures.
- Good communication, teamwork, and adherence to safety, sanitation, and company policies.
Responsibilities:
Maintain sanitation, operate equipment, check product quality, rotate stock, handle damaged goods, and unload trucks.
Cut and trim meat per standards, ensure product freshness, and promote sales.
Follow all safety, health, and regulatory guidelines, including appropriate dress code and hygiene practices.
Perform other duties as assigned and work overtime as needed.
