SummaryThe Preventive Maintenance Technician is accountable to ensure point-of-sale equipment at assigned customer sites is maintained within manufacturer's guidelines and any hardware issues identified are appropriately reported. The technician will clean equipment, perform hardware diagnostics as directed, and perform troubleshooting on hardware issues. The Preventive Maintenance Technician is also required to provide timely and accurate documentation and photographs of service performed at each customer site.ResponsibilitiesA Preventive Maintenance Technician at TRUNO will:Report to assigned customer sites at a scheduled time, document the preventive maintenance process with photographs and checklists, accurately document preventive maintenance assignment completions, and accurately and completely describe issues with customer equipmentInteract with customer personnel and Truno team in an easy-to-understand and positive mannerMaintain ability to work regular hours, as well as after-hours availability when neededBe willing to travel when needed, typically within a 150-mile radius, limited overnight travelResponsible to clean, troubleshoot, fault isolate, repair, and test to verify proper functionality of any in-store equipment assigned to serviceAble to use tools, including basic power tools, in the performance of assigned dutiesOrganized, well prepared, and maintain appearance and professional conductMaintain strict confidentiality, and adhere to company policiesAdherence to specific deadlines and timelinesAccountable and responsible to maintain the approved use only of company provided vehicle, company credit card/fuel and fleet maintenance card, Netbook PC, tools and test equipment, as well as any additional company provide resourcesMaintain technical and product knowledge on all equipment assigned for preventive maintenancePerform additional duties and responsibilities as neededQualificationsA Preventive Maintenance Technician at TRUNO should have:EducationAny combination of technical school / practical experienceExperienceMinimum 1 year of experience in information technology serviceFamiliarity with Windows, and Microsoft OfficePractical experience with electronics / technology hardwareSkills & KnowledgeExceptional customer service orientationBasic break / fix computer skillsExcellent oral and written communication, including communicating in a way that a non-technical end user and/or Team members and Managers can understandAbility to think, learn, and solve problems quicklyAdhere to established company safety policies and procedures in the workplaceMaintain ability to work a flexible scheduleConfidentiality and integrityDetail orientedOrganizational skillsAble to work independently with limited supervision and as part of a team#J-18808-Ljbffr
