About the Role:Join Temple Beit HaYam's Early Childhood Learning Center (ECLC) as a morning VPK (Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten) Lead Teacher, for children ages 4 to 5, and an afternoon Administrative Assistant. We serve children of all backgrounds in a nurturing environment.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans for VPK classes.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow.
- Monitor and assess children's development and progress regularly.
- Encourage social, emotional, and cognitive development through stimulating and motivating activities.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom and learning materials.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance the overall educational experience.
- Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.
- Afternoon Administrative Assistant to the Director.
Requirements:- Florida VPK (Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten) Credential
- Experience working with young children in a childcare or educational setting.
- Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with staff and parents.
- Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
- Passion for nurturing and educating young children.
- Be comfortable using computers and common software applications.
- Experience in marketing, maintaining websites, social media.
