About the Role:
Join Temple Beit HaYam's Early Childhood Learning Center (ECLC) as a morning VPK (Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten) Lead Teacher, for children ages 4 to 5, and an afternoon Administrative Assistant. We serve children of all backgrounds in a nurturing environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans for VPK classes.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow.
  • Monitor and assess children's development and progress regularly.
  • Encourage social, emotional, and cognitive development through stimulating and motivating activities.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom and learning materials.
  • Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance the overall educational experience.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.
  • Afternoon Administrative Assistant to the Director.
Requirements:
  • Florida VPK (Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten) Credential
  • Experience working with young children in a childcare or educational setting.
  • Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with staff and parents.
  • Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
  • Passion for nurturing and educating young children.
  • Be comfortable using computers and common software applications.
  • Experience in marketing, maintaining websites, social media.
