Certifications:

• NJ Certification - Elementary School Teacher in Grades N-8 or Teacher of Preschool through Grade 3
• Special Education Certification preferred
• All other certifications a plus

Terms: Tenure Track 10-month Position (Full-Time)

Requirements:

• Preschool teaching experience (preferred)
• Knowledge and training in Tools of the Mind Curriculum (preferred)
• Understanding of New Jersey Preschool Teaching and Learning Standards
• Understanding of Special Education programs, modifications, and accommodations
• Be familiar with various behavior modification plans and strategies
• Possess proven interpersonal communication skills
• Demonstrate strong speaking and writing skills
• Work cooperatively with grade level teachers

Salary: Salary Guide Step 1: BA $58,197 MA $60,613 MA+30 $63,029

Community: The Freehold Borough Public Schools is a Preschool 8 District in Monmouth County, NJ with a diverse student population of approximately 1,600 students. The district is comprised of two elementary schools and one middle school. High school students attend the Freehold Regional High School District.
