Daily Classroom Responsibilities
Report to work on time and clock in before your scheduled shift.
Arrive professionally dressed in accordance with Angels Academy's dress code.
Be prepared to begin instruction immediately upon the arrival of children.
Classroom Preparation
Complete a daily classroom safety inspection before children arrive.
Ensure all learning centers are clean, organized, and fully prepared.
Prepare all instructional materials for the day's lessons.
Child Supervision & Safety
Maintain active supervision of children at all times.
Follow all Georgia Bright from the Start (BFTS) licensing regulations.
Curriculum & Instruction
Teach the ABEKA Curriculum and the Creative Curriculum as scheduled.
Deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons that encourage active participation.
Differentiate instruction to meet individual learning needs.
Classroom Management
Establish and maintain a structured daily routine.
Encourage positive behavior using developmentally appropriate guidance techniques.
Resolve conflicts calmly while teaching children appropriate social skills.
Classroom Organization
Keep floors free of clutter, toys, trash, and trip hazards.
Ensure classroom displays remain neat and educational.
Maintain an inviting and stimulating learning environment.
Documentation & Administrative Duties
Complete all required classroom documentation accurately and on time.
Submit weekly lesson plans every monthly or weekly for approval.
Participate in required meetings and professional development.
Teamwork
Support fellow teachers and classrooms when assistance is needed.
Communicate professionally with coworkers and management.
Demonstrate flexibility and cooperation throughout the school day.
