    Preschool Teacher Assistant
    Location:     The Learning Experience – Canton, MI
    Pay: $16–$18 per hour (based on credentials and experience)
    Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday

    Preschool Teacher Assistant – Early Childhood Classroom

    The Learning Experience – Canton is seeking a caring and dependable Preschool Teacher Assistant to support children ages 3–5 in a structured classroom environment focused on kindergarten readiness, confidence, and social-emotional development.

    This role is ideal for someone with childcare experience who enjoys helping young learners build independence and strong early learning foundations through engaging classroom experiences.

    Key Responsibilities

    •  Assist with daily preschool classroom routines and learning activities 
    •  Support developmentally appropriate experiences and classroom centers 
    •  Help maintain a safe, organized, and engaging classroom environment 
    •  Guide children through transitions, meals, and group activities 
    •  Encourage positive classroom participation and social interaction 
    •  Communicate professionally with families and teaching team members 
    •  Follow Michigan childcare licensing requirements and center policies 
    Qualifications

    •  Prior childcare experience required 
    •  CDA preferred but not required 
    •  Strong communication and teamwork skills 
    •  Reliable, nurturing, and professional approach 
    •  Must meet Michigan childcare licensing requirements
    Compensation: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
