We are seeking a passionate and driven Preschool Lead Teacher / Curriculum Support Specialist to support our classrooms, mentor teaching staff, and help deliver high-quality early childhood education for children ages 3–5.


Important Location Notice


This position is based in Alamogordo, New Mexico.
Applicants must be currently local or have clear plans to relocate prior to the start date.


What You’ll Do


  •  Lead and support teachers in creating engaging, developmentally appropriate lesson plans
  •  Strengthen teacher-child interactions through coaching and best practices 
  •  Ensure compliance with New Mexico licensing and FOCUS quality standards
  •  Monitor daily classroom operations, including ratios and safety
  •  Maintain accurate child records and documentation
  •  Coordinate activities, field trips, and parent communication
  •  Foster a positive, inclusive, and nurturing environment
  •  Collaborate with leadership on continuous quality improvement
What You Bring


  •  Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (Bachelor’s preferred) 
  •  Minimum 1 year of experience in a licensed childcare setting 
  •  Strong knowledge of curriculum planning and child development
  •  Leadership ability with a passion for mentoring and teamwork
  •  Excellent communication and organizational skills 
  • Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus 
  •  Familiarity with New Mexico childcare regulations preferred
