This is a full-time position with a Monday – Friday schedule 6:30am -3:30pm or 8:30a -5:30p. The pay is $16 – 18 per hour depending upon experience and qualifications. This position is onsite at our center located: 1264 S Rio Grande Ave, Orlando FL 32805

The Preschool Teacher develops a cohesive teaching team, coordinates the curriculum, and manages the day-to-day operational activities of the classroom while implementing a curriculum that is appropriate for preschool-aged children. The Teacher in this role should be high energy and able to work well with staff, students, and parents. You’ll have the opportunity to serve as a model and mentor, leader in the classroom, champion a team environment, and provide fun-filled learning opportunities while making a positive impact on the lives of our students.

What You’ll Do:
•    Manage adherence to quality standards in accordance with both center’s vision and state and local / state requirements
•    Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and lesson plans
•    Manage daily classroom operations and maintain a structured learning environment
•    Ability to work well with others (staff, children, and parents) and to foster a team environment.
•    Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and staff
•    Encourage social, emotional, physical, and academic development
•    Create engaging and interactive learning experiences
•    Maintain classroom safety, cleanliness, and organization
•    Support and collaborate with fellow teachers and school leadership
•    Serve as a positive role model and mentor within the classroom

What We Need from You:
•    Highschool Diploma, CDA or degree in Early Childhood Education preferred
•    FL DCF 45 Hours Required

•    Minimum of 2 -3 years of professional early childhood education or experience 
•    Must clear a full level II DCF background check
•    Experience working with preschool-aged children preferred
•    Strong communication and classroom management skills
•    High energy, dependable, and team-oriented
•    Passion for early childhood education and child development
•    Ability to maintain a positive and professional learning environment
