Aikahi Preschool | Kailua, Oahu
$17–$18.50/hour + $500 New Hire Bonus
Do you enjoy staying busy, helping wherever needed, and being part of a team that supports young children every day?
Aikahi Preschool is looking for a dependable, caring team member to assist both in the kitchen and in the classroom. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety throughout the day and wants meaningful work in a warm, team-oriented preschool environment.
Your mornings will focus on supporting meal service and kitchen organization, while your afternoons will be spent assisting teachers and engaging with our keiki in the classroom.
If you’re someone who enjoys hands-on work, thrives in supportive environments, and loves working with children, we’d love to meet you.

Help create a smooth and caring mealtime experience for our preschoolers by:
Preparing and distributing catered meals and snacks
Delivering food to classrooms
Washing and sanitizing dishes and kitchen items
Keeping the kitchen clean, organized, and running efficiently
Supporting safe and consistent mealtime routines for children
No professional kitchen experience is required. Many successful team members come with experience managing busy households, caring for children, or helping with food preparation in group settings.
After kitchen responsibilities are complete, you’ll transition into the classroom to help:
Support teachers with daily classroom activities and routines
Engage children through play, learning, and hands-on activities
Supervise and assist during transitions and structured activities
Help maintain a safe, welcoming, and positive classroom environment
Build strong relationships with children, families, and staff
Experience working with children is helpful, but reliability, patience, and a positive attitude are just as important.
