Are you looking for a leadership position? Do you want to make a difference in the lives of children? Join our team as Preschool Center Director at The Learning Experience! Our Center Director will influence the growth and development of both children and teachers and create an environment of collaboration and community, encouraging everyone to thrive.


Daily responsibilities of the Center Director:
 PEOPLE LEADERSHIP
 · Conducts classroom observations, evaluations and provides feedback that motivates and encourages learning
 · Manages team to ensure the curriculum is executed in alignment with brand standards
 · Uses a growth mindset to train, coach, and develop staff for the future
 · Builds and communicates weekly staff schedules
 · Daily management of classroom ratios
 · Manages new hire paperwork and ensures employee files comply with state licensing regulations
 · Communicates center schedules to ensure appropriate ratios are always intact and labor is effectively managed to budget


CUSTOMER FOCUS
 · Leads tours with prospective families, highlighting key features/points of difference with our curriculum, teacher tenure/quality, etc.
 · Regularly communicates with families regarding student progress
 · Executes “parent pleasers”
 · Execution of our Show and Tell parent application
 · Ensures the physical environment and health/safety standards are in full compliance with local and state licensing regulations
 · Manages relationships with state licensors and conducts center evaluations
 · Responsible for accident/incident reporting
 · Children’s medication management
 · Conducts monthly emergency safety drills
 · Manages new customer administration and children’s files in compliance with state licensing regulations
 · Attends staff/parent events and completes training classes as required by State regulations


QUALIFICATIONS
· Two or more years of center leadership/management experience is highly preferred.
 · Must have professional teaching experience with preschool-age children.
 · Bachelor’s degree in ECE or a related field is highly preferred.
 · Core ECE coursework and Center Administration course required.
 · Provide all transcripts of college coursework.
· Must reside within a 20-minute drive of the school. Eastvale is located in the Inland Empire, off Interstate 15 between Ontario and Norco.
 · Strong knowledge of state licensing rules and regulations.
 · CPR and First Aid Certifications are highly preferred.
 · Must meet state-specific guidelines for the role.
 · Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, stand 95% of the day, stoop/bend down to a child's level, and perform all other typical physical activity required while caring for young children
 · Possess skills, attributes, and characteristics conducive to and suitable for dealing with children
 · Must speak English well enough to communicate with children, staff, management, and parents
 · Must be able to read and write English well enough to prepare, complete and maintain administrative forms and records as required by current governmental regulations and company policies and procedures
 · Satisfy the mandatory physical and background checks as required by State and company regulations and policies
