The Learning Experience – Colorado Springs, CO (Cimarron Hills)
Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 annually

The Learning Experience-Cimarron Hills is seeking an experienced Preschool Director to lead daily operations, develop a high-performing team, maintain licensing compliance, and foster a positive culture where children, families, and employees thrive.
What You'll Do:
- Lead all aspects of center operations, staffing, enrollment, and family engagement.
- Recruit, hire, train, coach, and develop teachers and leaders.
- Ensure compliance with Colorado licensing, health and safety standards, and company expectations.
- Support curriculum implementation and classroom quality.
- Conduct classroom observations, coaching sessions, and performance evaluations.
- Build strong relationships with families and the local community.
- Drive enrollment growth, retention, and team engagement.
- Create a culture of accountability, communication, teamwork, and professional growth.

Qualifications:
- Minimum 3-5 years of "Leadership" experience in a licensed childcare center or preschool
- Formal Education ECE Degree (Preferred)
- Colorado Shines PDIS Large Center Director Certificate required
- ECE Coursework, PDIS credentials and supervisory experience required
- Strong knowledge of licensing regulations and early childhood education
- Experience coaching, mentoring, and developing teams
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Flexible (rotating) schedule including opening, closing, evening, or weekend events
Strong technology skills are required. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook, including the ability to analyze data, create presentations, develop reports, and effectively utilize technology to support center operations, enrollment, staffing, curriculum, and family engagement.
