The Prep Cook is responsible for transforming raw ingredients into fresh, high-quality meals by washing, cutting, weighing, and mixing ingredients. They assist the Sandwich/Salad Maker and Bakers, help organize the café early in the day, and ensure all products meet freshness and presentation standards. Key duties include preparing and stocking ingredients, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation, working with management on prep schedules, and providing excellent guest service with a friendly attitude. The role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, teamwork, and the ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds. Candidates must be 18 or older, proactive, and committed to safety and quality standards. Additional responsibilities involve training new team members and resolving guest requests efficiently.
