As a Prep Cook, you are responsible for the detailed preparation that powers the line. You ensure that all ingredients are measured, portioned, and prepped to Chop’s exacting standards, allowing the kitchen to operate smoothly and efficiently during service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately prepare ingredients according to Chop’s recipes and specifications.
  • Chop, slice, portion, and store ingredients for service stations
  • Follow prep lists and prioritize tasks to ensure kitchen readiness.
  • Label, date, and rotate all products properly to ensure freshness and minimize waste.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized work area at all times.
  • Support cooks and chefs by replenishing items during service as needed.
  • Uphold Chop’s standards for quality, consistency, and culinary excellence.
