What You'll Do
● Accurately read, interpret, and scale recipes and prep sheets
● Prepare, assemble, and cook items to established standards
● Perform knife cuts with precision (slicing, dicing, chopping) and complete general prep tasks
● Prepare ingredients and components for service (vegetables, proteins, sauces, dressings, portion packs)
● Safely operate kitchen equipment including ovens, prep equipment, and dish machines
● Maintain cleanliness: sort and remove trash, fill/empty soak tubs, sweep, scrub, and mop floors
● Change dishwater in the dish machine every hour
● Keep the dish pit clean and transport clean dishes to the cook's line and storage areas
● Complete daily food safety logs related to dishwashing and sanitation
● Work closely with the Chef team and communicate needs clearly (inventory, quality, equipment)
