We are seeking a skilled and reliable Prep Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the preparation of ingredients, maintain a clean and organized kitchen, and support the culinary team in delivering high-quality meals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and portion ingredients for recipes according to the chef's specifications.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workspaces.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Assist in basic cooking tasks, such as chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and preparing sauces.
- Monitor inventory levels and report shortages to the kitchen manager.
- Ensure all food items are properly stored and labeled.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a prep cook or similar role in a restaurant.
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food safety practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
