Description

  • Lead the preconstruction process for healthcare projects from initial concept through to project handover
  • Develop and manage detailed cost estimates, budgets, and value engineering strategies
  • Collaborate closely with clients, architects, engineers, and internal teams to align design with budget and schedule objectives
  • Prepare and present proposals, bid packages, and project scopes
  • Identify risks and opportunities, ensuring proactive mitigation strategies are in place
  • Support business development efforts, including client presentations and relationship management
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of healthcare construction standards, codes, and best practices

Profile

  • Proven experience in preconstruction or estimating within a general contractor environment
  • Strong track record working on healthcare projects (hospitals, medical facilities, etc.)
  • Excellent knowledge of cost planning, budgeting, and construction methodologies
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical capabilities
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
