Description

Dynamic Construction EstimatorDynamic Construction Estimator role with an excellent team - tons of flexibilityAmazing benefits: profit sharing, sabbatical, above market bonuses and moreAbout Our ClientMy client's Phoenix office is out of Tempe. The office is 30+ people between Project Management, Precon/Estimating, Field, and Design Phase. The office is ran by two awesome leaders - both are very accessible and in the weeds with their people always regardless of their title and status. This office primarily works on large scale Commercial, Hospitality, and Education projects. They are also starting to dabble in some Healthcare as that is growing in Arizona. The culture in this office is excellent, there is a ton of flexibility - they know you are a person with a life outside of being an employee (are always good with people leaving for kid pick ups, personal stuff after work, kids sports games, etc.). My client is now a $10B company as a whole. Their 5-year plan is to double in size, in a healthy way. Their portfolio is 70% repeat business, and they are constantly saying no to extra work so their people don't get overloaded, they don't grow too quickly, and they can keep giving their clients top notch service. They don't care about being the biggest, they care about being the best.Job DescriptionCollect historical cost data to estimate costs for both current and future products. Assess the cost effectiveness of products, services and actual costs relative to bids as the project develops. Prepare estimates for use in selecting vendors and or subcontractors. Set up cost monitoring and reporting systems. Establish and maintain tendering process and conduct negotiations. Prepare and maintain complete directory of suppliers, contractors and subcontractors.
