Precision Toolroom Mold Maker

Where: Omaha, NE
When: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (8–9 hour shifts) — occasional Saturday OT

  • Build, repair, and maintain injection molds and custom tooling for custom-engineered products.
  • Own CNC mill programming, setups, and operations to hit tight tolerances.
  • Partner with Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, and Production to deliver on-time, right-first-time results.

What you’ll do

  • Program, set up, and operate CNC mills and related equipment.
  • Manufacture precision components for molds, stamping dies, and custom parts.
  • Troubleshoot processes and optimize machining parameters.
  • Assemble tooling to drawings/specifications; validate quality and dimensional accuracy.
  • Work alongside QA to verify tolerances using precision metrology tools.
  • Author and maintain setup sheets and machining documentation.
  • Communicate progress and risks; assist with training and production support.
  • Maintain 5S-level organization; follow lockout/tagout and hazard communication procedures.

Must-have experience

  • Toolmaker/Mold Maker background in a manufacturing setting.
  • 2–4+ years in injection mold building, repair, and maintenance.
  • Demonstrated CNC mill programming, setup, and operation skills.
  • Blueprint and mechanical drawing fluency.
  • Proven ability to hit tight tolerances and solve complex problems.
  • Broad exposure to machining processes and tooling equipment.
