Build what moves the world

At Overton Industries, our precision‑engineered parts power automotive, aerospace, and industrial innovation. If you take pride in exacting measurements, safe material handling, and reliable documentation, this role is your platform to make an immediate impact.

The challenge you’ll own

From the first coil you rig with an overhead crane to the last chart you complete, you’re the guardian of throughput and tolerance. You’ll set up and operate high‑speed stamping presses, confirm dimensions with micrometers and calipers, and keep impeccable production and inventory records—while following prints and PPE standards without compromise.

Core responsibilities

  • Operate high‑speed stamping equipment safely and efficiently
  • Load/unload and thread coiled steel using overhead cranes in compliance with safety procedures
  • Measure and verify parts with micrometers, calipers, and related gauges
  • Maintain multi‑chart documentation for production, inventory, and order‑specific requirements
  • Read/interpret dimensional part prints; hold tight specs with accuracy
  • Wear required PPE at all times: ear protection, safety glasses, approved safety gloves
  • Support adjacent production activities and continuously learn new processes

What you need to succeed

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year in manufacturing and 1 year operating stamping presses
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks
  • Forklift certification (preferred but not required)

Environment & schedule

  • Manufacturing floor with active machinery, noise, and metalworking fluids
  • Standard shift schedule; overtime or shift adjustments may be required by production

Rewards

  • Competitive Pay that recognizes your experience
  • Medical, Dental, Vision coverage for you and your family
  • 401(k) with Company Match to invest in your future
  • Paid Holidays & PTO for balance and recovery
  • Career Growth & Development with training and advancement paths
