Precision Manufacturing Operations & Finance Manager

Picture your Monday morning in Milford, CT: you open B&A Precision’s ERP dashboard, confirm the weekend’s entries balanced to the bank rec, scan AP/AR aging for exceptions, and sync with leadership teams at both B&A Precision and its parent company, Talon Precision, on priorities for the week. By noon, payroll hours are verified, time tracking issues are resolved, vendors are queued for payment, and customer communications are lined up. What you will own

• Day-to-day administrative, bookkeeping, accounting, and financial operations for B&A Precision in Milford, CT.
• End-to-end AP/AR oversight, including timely processing, aging reviews, and follow-ups.
• Financial reconciliations to keep statements accurate and current.
• Payroll support and employee time tracking to ensure every hour is captured correctly.
• Data stewardship across ERP and accounting systems—clean, current, and decision-ready.
• Customer relationship support and clear, professional communications.
• Close collaboration with leadership at B&A Precision and Talon Precision to align operations with business objectives.

Qualifications

• Grounding in accounting, finance, budgeting, and performance metrics used in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Proven operations management capability, coordinating activities across multiple functions.
• Analytical strength—turning data into insights, spotting trends, and informing decisions.
• Background in program or project coordination—or cross-functional initiatives—is a plus.
• Experience in manufacturing, precision machining, or related industrial sectors is highly valued.
• Clear communicator with strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
• Organized, detail-focused, and tuned to continuous improvement and problem-solving.
