Precision Machining Estimating Engineer & Customer Requirements Specialist
Imagine starting your day with a new model from a customer on your screen. You dig into drawings and Model-Based Definition, decode GD&T, and map a path from raw material to a flawless finished part. By lunch, you’ve developed a competitive, manufacturable quotation. In the afternoon, you’re collaborating with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Operations to align processes, mitigate risk, and ensure the technical story is crystal clear from kickoff to inspection. That’s a typical day for this role at Richard Childress Racing (RCR) Manufacturing Solutions—where precision and speed go hand-in-hand.

- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Operations to drive on-time, on-spec delivery.
- Support new program launches by identifying risks, opportunities, and process prerequisites.
- Maintain accurate quote records and all related customer documentation within our ERP/MRP system.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and uphold the RCR Manufacturing Solutions Quality Management System (QMS).
- Build trusted customer relationships through technical support and responsive communication during quoting and order review.
