Ready to be the go-to expert for CNC uptime?
At Geremarie in Lake Zurich, IL—part of the Patrick Industries family—we machine high-precision aluminum parts for leading marine and recreation brands. Our environment pairs advanced automation with expert craftsmanship, and we rely on skilled maintainers who take ownership and move fast.
Do these challenges excite you?
- Hunting down mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults on CNCs—and fixing them right the first time.
- Swapping spindles, motors, bearings, belts, pumps, solenoids, gearboxes, sensors, tool changers, and coolant components with confidence.
- Verifying spindle condition, inspecting lube systems, and dialing in axis alignment.
- Translating alarms/error codes using diagrams, manuals, and diagnostic software.
- Jumping on breakdowns to slash downtime.
Your playbook
- Prevent: Perform scheduled PM on lubrication, coolant systems, hydraulics, chip conveyors, filters, and way covers.
- Detect: Inspect for wear, leaks, overheating, contamination, and early failure indicators.
- Correct: Document findings, parts used, and corrective actions; update PMs and enter work orders in the maintenance system.
- Elevate: Propose PM improvements centered on CNC reliability and tool life.
- Electrify: Tackle low-voltage troubleshooting, fuses/breakers, and wiring checks.
- Collaborate: Partner with Operators, Leads, and Supervisors to address performance concerns.
- Lead: Coach Maintenance Technicians on mechanical diagnosis and repair.
- Analyze: Participate in root-cause investigations for recurring failures.
- Improve: Support CI projects to boost uptime, reliability, and throughput.
- Protect: Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout and PPE.
