What you'll do
- Set up Roll Thread & Grinding machines per setup sheets; install dies and tooling correctly.
- Load, stage, and move materials using lifts and overhead cranes; keep machines running efficiently.
- Grind bar stock to spec ahead of roll threading; maintain required tolerances throughout the process.
- Measure and verify with micrometers, calipers, and other precision gauges during production.
- Record machine performance, part quality, and material usage in the ERP each shift.
- Partner with maintenance to troubleshoot and minimize downtime.
- Follow safety protocols, wear PPE, and apply 5S to sustain an orderly work area.
- Move raw and finished goods between workstations via forklifts and overhead cranes.
- Execute in-process and final QA checks to meet company and customer specs.
- Support adjacent departments as priorities shift to maintain workflow.
- Other duties as assigned.

Work environment & physical demands
- Manufacturing setting; frequent lifting up to 50 lbs; occasional lifts up to 75 lbs.
- Frequent hand/finger use to handle and adjust equipment; moderate reaching, pushing, pulling, gripping, grasping.
- Safety gear required: safety glasses and steel-toed work boots or shoes.
Schedule & employment type
- Full-time (40+ hours/week); typical Monday–Friday, eight (8) hours/day.
- Final hours set by management; overtime, evenings, and some weekends may be required.
Compensation & rewards
- Hourly range: $19–$28.50, determined by market, education, experience, skills, knowledge, and certifications.
- Bonus eligible: Quarterly Bonus within the Individual Contributor tier (plan participation depends on role).

Qualifications
- 18+ years of age.
- 1–3 years operating large-scale roll threading machinery.
- High school diploma/GED or significant relevant work experience.
- Average computer literacy.
- Hands-on skill with micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
- Proficient with common hand tools.
- Ability to read/write, do basic math, and follow written and verbal instructions.
