Pre-Scale OperatorPosition Summary
The Pre-Scale Operator is responsible for preparing and staging all ingredients for production batches, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with food safety and company standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Pay and Schedule
$14.00 per hour
10:30pm - 6am Monday - Friday
Key Responsibilities- Accurately stage and mix ingredients based on pre-scale weight sheets.
- Communicate with Line Leaders and Mixers to confirm correct ingredients for each batch.
- Stage pre-scale area with all required ingredient bins for each changeover.
- Ensure ingredient bins are full at the start and end of each shift.
- Use a pallet jack to move ingredient pallets to the pre-scale area.
- Ensure batches are ready for the mixer as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area from the pre-scale area to the freezer entrance.
- Use Plex to locate any materials outside the pre-scale area.
- Place empty ingredient bags in the cardboard baler.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
Physical & Work Requirements- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. throughout an 8-hour shift.
- Ability to stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
- Dependable with consistent attendance.
