$55 to $60 per hour contract with a conversion salary of $120K to $125K annually DOE

We are looking for a Pre-Sales Engineer to drive business expansion by providing technical expertise in traditional wired and wireless networking products and firewalls. The role requires hands-on experience with troubleshooting, installations, and network protocols/architecture. The selected candidate will partner with sales teams to design solutions, deliver demos, and ensure client needs are met with the right technologies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and solution workshops.
• Provide hands-on support with troubleshooting, installations, and proof-of-concept testing when needed.
• Translate business requirements into network architecture and proposals.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure smooth solution delivery.

• 5 to 7 years of experience with network infrastructure technologies.
• Network protocols and architecture.
• Experience with the following network technologies: Routers, L2 & L3 switching, Wi-Fi.
• Knowledge of the following product lines: Juniper, Aruba, Extreme Networks, Arista, Fortinet, and Palo Alto Networks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Consultative pre-sales experience.
• Experience with Cisco.
