Job Description
Georgia's Pre-K Program is a state funded educational program for all age eligible 4-year-old children in Georgia. The purpose of Georgia's Pre-K Program is to prepare children for success in Kindergarten and later school years. The Pre-K Assistant Teacher is responsiblefor instructing 4-year-old's, based on needs of each child, and the requirements of the program under the guidance of the Lead Teacher.
As an Assistant Teacher, you are:
- Caring! Follow all licensing guidelines, company standards and grant program requirements to ensure the daily care of every child in your classroom.
- Engaged! Develop your ability to accurately observe, assess, and plan for children, as well as effectively communicate with families.
- Knowledgeable! Complete extensive training that provides insight on child care, preschool and development topics.
- Creative! Implement curriculum while creating fun, interactive learning experiences for the children.
We want energetic, dependable, passionate individuals who have:
- Associates Degree or Technical Certification Credit (TCC) in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or related or an active CDA in Preschool.
- Experience in a licensed childcare center or related field.
- The ability to meet state requirements for education and our center requirements.
- Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
