Seeking a full-time Pre-Fabrication Helper/Welder in Chester, Virginia, responsible for installing, welding, modifying, and repairing electrical systems and related materials in the commercial electrical construction industry.
Works in the Pre-Fab Shop, measuring, laying out, hanging, threading pipe, soldering/braze pipe, and setting mechanical equipment, often working from ladders. Ensures compliance with safety policies, maintains inventory, and communicates material status to project teams. Travel may be required.
Qualifications include recent commercial electrical or related experience, welding skills, ability to read fabrication drawings and blueprints, pipe bending, conduit installation skills, a high school diploma or GED, OSHA 10 certification or ability to obtain, and passing background and MVR checks if operating vehicles.
